During the 6 years of Social Impakt's journey in providing access to clean drinking water in Indonesia, 2020 is by far the most challenging year. In early 2020, we faced a difficult situation because of COVID-19. Everyone who relies on tourism lost income. Due to the pandemic, tourists can't visit Bali. The impact of Covid-19 is worse than the Bali Bombing and Mount Agung Eruption.
People's life in Bali has gotten more and more difficult over the past 9 months. People do not have jobs, not to mention providing for daily household needs, such as water. One household in Bali spends an average of IDR 150,000 (USD 11) per month to buy water refill/gallon. This is why we decided to start a fundraiser to help families in need in Bali to save money on clean drinking water, and at the same time improve their health. We also distribute water filters to villages and remote areas in Indonesia.
With the Nazava water filter, tap water, rainwater and river water can be converted into potable water and is 100% safe to drink. This water filter is easy to use and very affordable. US $ 20 provides clean drinking water to a family for 3 years.
2020 is coming to an end.
Help us reach our target of $ 45,000 to provide water filters for 2250 families in need.
What a beautiful Christmas gift a water filter would be. 🙂
It's sad to know that Bali island is beautiful, with stunning beaches, mountains, and forests, but has no safe and clean drinking water.
You can support by donating to https://donorbox.org/clean-water-for-bali.
Or by buying 2 water filters, 1 for you to use in your house, and for a family in need.
